Take the Visa card you already use, add a password to confirm online purchases, and you've got Verified by Visa. It's a program that Visa designed to help ensure only you can use your Visa card online. Visa always protects you against unauthorized purchases. But with Verified by Visa, you can help prevent unauthorized purchases before they even happen.

Here's how it works:

1. Enroll your USE Visa credit card and/or your USE Visa Xpress ATM & CheckCard in Verified by Visa.
2. At participating stores online, your card will be automatically recognized as protected by Verified by Visa.
3. Your password will be verified.
4. The transaction will be completed as usual.

Important notes:

• If you have not enrolled your USE Visa credit card and/or your USE Visa Xpress ATM & CheckCard and try to make online purchases at participating Verified by Visa merchants, you will now be automatically prompted to enroll in the Verified by Visa program. 
• If you choose not to register your USE Visa credit card and/or USE Visa Xpress ATM & CheckCard, Visa will decline your online purchase at all participating Verified by Visa merchants.
• With Verified by Visa, your card is protected, not the computer you are using, so you can use your card to shop with added safety from any computer that has Internet access.¹
