Savings-Secured Loans and Term Investment-Secured Loans allow members to borrow money using their own USE savings funds as collateral. Essentially, you use your USE savings dollars as security for a loan, yet you don't actually disturb your savings dollars. Therefore, your money still earns competitive interest rates during the term of your loan. And, by using money you have on deposit as security, you can borrow money at a much lower rate of interest than you could with an unsecured loan.
