Now you can deposit checks from anywhere, anytime through the convenience of MyDeposit from USE Credit Union. 

MyDeposit is an innovative, new Online Remote Check Deposit service that lets you deposit checks directly into your USE account from the comfort of your home or office using any Internet-connected computer (including laptops) and almost any scanner. 

This progressive and sophisticated technology means that you no longer have to find a branch or ATM to make a deposit!  With MyDeposit, depositing checks can now be achieved 24/7 at home, at work, or on the go, quickly, conveniently and securely!

How to deposit checks remotely online:

  • Step One: Login to Online Banking and select "MyDeposit," located on the Online Banking navigation bar.
  • Step Two:  Follow the easy, step-by-step instructions to scan your checks with a scanner that's connected to your computer (nearly every scanner works with this technology!) 
  • Step Three: Review and submit the scanned image of the check you are depositing into your USE Credit Union account. You will be able to see the deposit in your account history in real time!
  • Step Four:  File the physical copy of your check in a designated location for 90 days for recordkeeping purposes only; it is OK to destroy the check after that as you will always retain an online record.  Never attempt to re-deposit your scanned check.**

  • Broadband Internet Connection
  • TWAIN compliant document scanner
  • Windows 2000®, Windows XP® with Service Pack 2, Windows Vista™ or MAC OS X
  • Internet Explorer® 6 (with security set to medium), Internet Explorer® 7 and up (with security set to medium high), Firefox 2.0 and up, Safari 3.1 and up 
  • Web Browser security set to allow cookies from 3rd parties
  • To download the Active X component, you must have Administrative privileges on your computer

*Checks deposited before 5 p.m. PT will be sent for processing the same business day. Deposits made after 5 p.m. PT will be processed the next business day. Deposited checks are credited immediately.  However, USE reserves the right to place a hold on any deposits made via MyDeposit.  *Checks can only be negotiated once. It is important to file the scanned check away as soon as it has been deposited through MyDeposit. Re-depositing the check again or cashing the check once you have already deposited it through MyDeposit is considered “deliberate and knowing” fraud, and a very serious federal offense that is actionable to the full extent of the law. A check will only clear once, so any attempts to re-negotiate it a second time, either by cashing it or re-depositing it at USE Credit Union or at another financial institution, will create a financial loss that you will be fully liable to repay, and which may be subject to prosecution.***Inforamation current as of 10/20/10 from www.chase.com.
