PIN-by-Phone

USE members have the option of selecting their Visa Credit Card or Debit Card (Visa Xpress ATM & CheckCard) PIN by phone. It's simple and easy:

Step 1: Call the PIN-by-Phone hotline toll free at 1-877-PHON-PIN (1-877-746-6746).

Step 2: An audio response unit will prompt you to enter your full 16-digit card number. For security purposes, the audio response unit will ask for the primary account holder's Social Security Number.

Step 3: Enter your selected PIN. The information will be repeated for verification purposes. Please complete all the prompts to ensure that your request will be submitted properly.

Step 4: Please allow 1 Business Day for processing.

Step 5:

• Credit Cards: You will not receive a new card. Your existing card works the next business day with your new custom PIN! (Reminder: Please allow 1 business day for processing.)
  
• Debit Cards(Visa Xpress ATM & CheckCard): You will receive a new card in the mail with the same 16-digit card number.* Your new card will have your new custom PIN encoded on the magnetic stripe on the back of the card. You may continue to use your existing card with the old PIN until the new card arrives in the mail. Once your new card arrives, destroy your existing card as soon as possible to avoid confusion.
  
  * IMPORTANT NOTE: The automated response unit will inform you that you can use your existing card with your new PIN. However, this is NOT applicable to debit cards! You will be mailed a new debit card with your new PIN encoded on it. Please allow 7-10 days for arrival.
