Relationship Officer
Under the direction of the AVP, Branch Manager, the relationship officer is responsible for meeting consumer loan sales objectives (including Home Equity Loans or Fixed 2nds, and Home Equity Lines of Credit) and establishing and maintaining loyal member relationships by meeting members’ financial needs and providing an unbeatable service experience.  Promotion to higher grade level based on expertise and proficiency in job duties and sales performance.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • 2 or more years of previous new account and consumer loan experience required
  • 2-5 years related credit union and/or banking experience
  • Proven sales experience is required
  • Must be able to work branch operational hours, to include weekends
  • Must have strong sales skills
  • Ability to sell products and services effectively
  • Ability to build & maintain relationships with internal and external members
  • Must be able to multi-task & be detailed oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form
  • Must be able to speak effectively before groups of members, employees of organization, and the general public
  • Must have the ability to use loan origination systems, contact management software, and other Microsoft Office application products
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, good phone and e-mail etiquette, a professional presentation, and a high degree of personal initiative
  • Notary License a plus.

 Salary Range:  $15.77 - 19.00/hr
