Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Development
Under the supervision of the President/CEO, the Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Development is responsible for the development, implementation, communication, and administration of all Human Resources (HR) strategies, functions and projects, while meeting all regulatory and legal requirements, for USE Credit Union.

As a key member of the company’s Executive Team, the Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Development contributes to the success of the Credit Union by partnering with and supporting the Executive Team, and the organization, in the development and implementation of the company’s business strategies, goals and objectives.  The ideal candidate will be an accomplished leader with demonstrated implementation and results in organizational design, training, development and administration of the HR functions.  The HR functions include compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance measurement, recruiting, and retention.   

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, Business or Business-related field.  Master’s degree, preferred. 
  • Experienced Human Resources Executive with a minimum of 7 years experience at the Senior Vice President level in a large credit union or other financial services organization. 
  • Experience with organizational design analysis and change, leadership and staff development, succession planning, and compensation expertise.
  • Experience with designing and implementing compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruiting, and retention programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Human Resources related strategic plans and translate them into operational initiatives.
  • SPHR Certification, preferred.
     

Advertising Copywriter
An Advertising Copywriter is responsible for creative content development and copywriting of both internal and external communications,  under the direction of the AVP, Creative Services Manager. Principle duties are to develop original concepts and write copy / content for marketing, advertising, business development, public relations, and corporate communication purposes, including media advertisements, brochures, in-branch posters and displays, statement insets, direct mail, e-mail marketing, Website copy, newsletters, press releases, social media websites, SEG development, community events, and other projects as assigned.  Will also work collaboratively with graphic designers and other marketing team members to brainstorm creative concepts that promote the USE brand in various mediums, including print, radio, Web and TV.  

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • BA degree in Communications, Journalism, or English, or equivalent experience required. 
  • Financial services experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be an excellent writer, creative thinker, work well under deadline and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Should have a thorough understanding of graphic design and the printing process.
  • Must have excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Must possess strong creative an public relations skills, good writing skills and have a high degree of personal initiative.
  • Must be able to work during regular business hours, and occasional nights or weekends as needed to meet production deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form
  • Must have the ability to use the Internet, Social Networking Websites, Word for Windows, EXCEL, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in public relations is a plus.

Salary Range:  $40,000 - $45,000/year


AVP, Branch Manager
Directly responsible for the administration and management of a branch.  Specifically responsible for meeting performance metrics, including branch growth and profitability projections, operations, employee development, and member quality service experience. Specifically responsible for branch business development activities and SEG/Sponsor group management.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • 5 years previous management experience in a bank or credit union is required
  • Proven track record in meeting all branch sales goals and objectives required
  • Previous business development, consumer and/or mortgage lending experience required
  • Ability to build & maintain relationships with internal and external members
  • Must have the ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff to their highest potential 

*Supporting documentation will be required for the following:  Sales record, goal achievement and past performance.

Salary:  $59, 000 – $73, 000/year plus quarterly incentives


Member Service Center Representative:
The Member Service Center Representative at USE Credit Union is responsible for processing financial transactions and answering member account and service inquiries over the telephone in a timely manner.  This individual proactively participates in the cross selling of credit union products and services by establishing a professional rapport with members to assess their financial needs.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Must be able to multi-task, function in a fast paced environment and be detail oriented 
  • Must have strong sales and customer service experience
  • Previous experience in a call center environment preferred 
  • 2 years previous banking/credit union experience required 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form
  • Ability to interpret banking regulations and compliance standards 
  • Ability to build & maintain relationships with internal and external members

Salary Range:  $12.00 - 13.00/hr
